BDA Welcomes New Members

The British Drilling Association (BDA) is pleased to welcome a number of new members that have joined the Association in recent months.

The new members include GB Land Engineering Ltd, Leask Marine Ltd, Lithos Consulting Ltd; MacGeo Ltd; and Story Contracting Ltd and each company has committed to undertake the BDA Audit.

The support of these additional new companies further widens the BDA’s membership, which moves the Association further towards one of its core aims, which is to fully represent the drilling industry.

Speaking about the new members, Martyn Brocklesby, Chair of the BDA, said: “It is great to welcome new members of the BDA; the more members we have the greater the knowledge resource of the BDA and the better the Association can represent the drilling industry both within the sector and at a more strategic level as a specialist contractor in construction. It also helps enormously the BDA drive forward standards, innovation and critical issues such as best practice, health & safety and mental health and wellbeing.”

Membership of the BDA is open to enterprises such as companies, partnerships and sole traders etc., contractors that have proof its drilling operatives either have, or are registered to take, NVQ Land Drilling, Level 2, non-contracting suppliers and consultants.
