Contractors sought for Scots and NI new-builds
/Procurement consultancy solutions firm Prosper has begun the search for contractors to work on new-build projects in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The £250m multi-supplier framework opportunity notice, released yesterday (24 August), states that the successful contractors will primarily be used for new-build residential projects, but the tender also includes commercial, community, healthcare and education developments.
The tender is split into two lots, one for Scotland and one for Northern Ireland.
Prosper hopes to appoint up to eight contractors per lot. Both lots cover an initial period of 24 months with the option to extend by two further 12-month periods.
The scope of the framework includes construction and design-and-build capability.
The deadline for the receipt of tenders is 29 September 2023.
Prosper is acting as a central purchasing body in relation to the procurement.
The framework will be available for use by the authority, its members and other contracting bodies, including registered social landlords; local authorities; educational establishments; NHS bodies; police, fire and rescue; and registered charities.
