International Award Success for Lemon and Lime Interiors
/Home staging expert business Lemon and Lime Interiors has picked up an international award for their stunning transformation of a luxury, six-bedroom, Northamptonshire home.
Lemon and Lime Interiors was awarded the ‘Best Home Staging Transformation Project’ at the 2021 International Home Staging Awards for their work on a conservatory at Hardwick Lodge. The project was undertaken at the request of period and luxury property specialist estate agents Fine and Country.
Elaine Penhaul, founder of Lemon and Lime Interiors, said: “We are thrilled to have won such a prestigious international award for our hard work at Hardwick Lodge. The team identified the value that home staging would bring to the property and made the most of the opportunity by transforming the conservatory into a drawing room – providing an additional reception room with entertaining space.
“The new conservatory really added a wow factor to the home and enhanced its appeal to potential buyers. The room was initially echoey and cold, so we needed to use the right soft furnishings to make the room more homely, while also aligning with the property’s grand scale.”
Having previously been on the market for more than three years, the home was unoccupied and gained little interest. Following Lemon and Lime Interiors’ transformation the property attracted an offer above the asking price within ten days of being listed by Fine and Country.
Marie Fritz, partner agent at Fine and Country, said: “Elaine and the Lemon and Lime team were fantastic to work with. We initially walked through the property to discuss what style and feel we wanted to emulate in the conservatory, which was staged perfectly.
“Lemon and Lime’s meticulous attention to detail was crucial to turning this empty property into a fantastic family home – we've even received endless compliments from other estate agents and buyers.”
