Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has completed work on a 60-bed nursing home in Livingston for Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group.

The firm acted as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Principal Designer for the construction of the new-build nursing home in the town’s Kirk Lane.

The home comprises 60 en-suite bedrooms, spanning standard, premium and deluxe, accompanied by six attractive lounge areas, six dining rooms, and a function room. A large lounge and function suite with a screen projection system, communal sun terrace and private gardens are also incorporated for the resident’s enjoyment and comfort.

Randolph Hill’s Managing Director, Peter McCormick, said: “We’re delighted to officially open Kirk Lane. The new development brings a high standard of nursing care to the local community and will help address the current shortage of care facilities in West Lothian.

“I’m also pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew McCanny as our Kirk Lane Manager, and Ann Livingston as Deputy Manager. Both are dedicated professionals with excellent care sector service records who have been a core part of the Randolph Hill team for several years.”

Lewis Robertson, Quantity Surveyor, Hardies Property & Construction Consultants, added: “Having previously provided Project Management, Quantity Surveying, and Principal Designer services for Randolph Hill Group’s recent development in Gullane, we were delighted to be appointed to this team and are proud to have successfully delivered an excellent building within 18-months alongside Muir Construction, Gilberts Architects, and Harley Haddow.

“We are all looking forward to working on the next project with such a fantastic and collaborative team.”
